Day-Ray has shipped over 10,000 of our revolutionary K100-140-001.
It incorporates the most advanced arcing protection available and is a
lower cost drop-in replacement for the Avtech 8184-1 and Boeing
S283U008-16 ballasts. The K100-140-001 ballast was developed in
response to a customer request. Following the design of the universal
9W – 80W ballast with arc protection, Day-Ray obtained PMA by Test
and Computation, for quick turnaround.

The K100-150-001 ballast followed the popular K100-140-001 model. Initially developed in
response to another customer request, Day-Ray designed this 13W – 64W full-range dimming
ballast with arc protection and obtained PMA by Test and Computation.
